Eclipse wedding portraiture work hard to give you your unique Album of memories. Each Wedding is different and unique; our approach is to capture the magic of the moment whilst remaining as unobtrusive as possible. Whilst we find that the most memorable shots are those that capture the special, unscripted, emotions of your day we will also include some classic images.

Our aim is to guide you to the package tailored to your needs. We would like you to enjoy this special day without unwanted interference from the wedding photographer - if you want to greet your friends after the ceremony rather than immediately pose for pictures then you can, it’s your day. The wedding is your big day, and we will do our best to stay out of the way and let you enjoy yours.

When you book us, you book us for the whole day not a portion. We will take control at certain points so that you get the album you want. We put images onto a secure web page which is password controlled this name can be specified by you or us and can be changed at request if required.

The following terms and conditions form an integral part of this contract and no modifications or variations shall be effective unless agreed by eclipsephotos

Booking Fees and Payments

A booking fee of £200 is charged (non refundable) when the customer signs these Terms and Conditions. This fee is then deducted from the total package price. Dates will be reserved when the deposit has been paid and a Booking form has been filled in and signed. The balance of the fees is due 30 working days prior to the Wedding day. If the monies are not received by this date, the reservation will be deemed as cancelled and the date will become open again to other wedding parties with immediate effect.  Any bank charges incurred due to returned cheques will be charged to the client. Payments for additional photographs are to be made when ordered, as no processing will be undertaken before Payment is cleared.

Weddings booked outside a 25 mile radius will be subject to an additional price to the package fees quoted and this additional price shall be confirmed when the exact location of the venue is known. (Overnight accommodation shall be at an additional cost on venue booking).


Delivery of Goods

The viewing date for the wedding photographs is arranged 2-3 weeks after the wedding. Photo albums, digital images on CD/DVD and DVD slideshow delivery time are 3-4 weeks after the viewing date. Web galleries shall be set up within 2-3 weeks after the wedding date. We try and get some images up sooner than this if our diary allows.

Damaged Goods

Eclipsephotos will not be held responsible for any subsequent damage or degradation to albums, prints, CDs/DVDs that were dispatched undamaged. All albums and images need to be kept at room temperature, stored away from heat and direct sunlight as this will reduce the life of the album and images.

 

Licence.

Eclipsephotos are to be granted artistic licence with respect to the poses, backgrounds and locations used. Every effort will be made to satisfy the wishes of the client after discussions with them and accommodate all the photographic shots required. However, in instances where bad weather, non participation of guests or Bride and Groom or associated parties, late arrivals or any other circumstance at the event, the best judgement of eclipsephotos shall  be made. If for any reason, eclipsephotos experience a lack of co-operation from the Bride and Groom or associated parties and photographs are unable to be taken we cannot be held liable. All photographs are sized nominal.
The photographs will provide a pleasing colour balance, but eclipsephotos cannot guarantee exact colour matching. Owing to anomalous reflectance caused by a combination of certain dyes and materials, especially man made fibres, it is sometimes impossible to record the exact colour of materials seen by the human eye.

Copyright

Under the 1988 Copyright Designs and Patents Act, the copyright of all photographs belong to the Photographer and eclipsephotos. It is contrary to the Act to copy or allow to be copied any photographs belonging to the Photographer. It is a requirement of the Contract that all reprints/copies are to be handled through eclipsephotos. Any use of the photographs for publication purposes by the client shall require the permission of eclipsephotos and they have the right to use any photographs under this Contract for their own Display, Publication or Competition requirements.
 
Changes

Any changes to the wedding schedule that may affect your photography should be notified as soon as possible to eclipsephotos. If eclipsephotos are not notified of any such changes, eclipsephotos cannot be held responsible for the outcome of the wedding photography.



Cancellations

The deposit is non-refundable if the client cancels the wedding at any time. Cancellations of any wedding within 20 weeks of the Wedding date will result in the Client being liable to pay 50% of the package fee booked. Cancellation of any wedding within 12 weeks of the Wedding date will result in the Client being liable to pay the full amount of the package fee booked. The said sum is payable as compensation of lost bookings and other losses eclipsephotos may suffer.

Postage

If postage is used as a method by either the client or eclipsephotos to send / return  albums, DVDs, CDs, prints etc. it is necessary to send these goods by either Registered post or other guaranteed service to ensure safe arrival back to eclipsephotos or to the client. If the goods are being returned to eclipsephotos and are not received by eclipsephotos it shall be assumed that these methods of postage have not been used and the client may be held responsible for the full value of the goods.

Other Circumstances

In extenuating circumstances e.g.  Death, Personal injury or sickness to the Photographer (this list is not exhaustive); eclipsephotos reserve the right to seek and find a replacement photographer to undertake the Contract. If a replacement photographer(s) cannot be found, a full re-fund will be given to client but no further liability will be sought with respect to this agreement. Eclipsephotos cannot be held responsible for the breach of this Contract due to circumstances beyond their control. These circumstances include but are not limited to: lack of access to the venue, Church/Reception/Venue becoming unavailable, incapacitated in any way, weather conditions preventing travelling etc.
